TWIG WARS โ Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Short version: TWIG WARS does not collect, store, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking or advertising SDKs. You can play without giving us anything about yourself.
What stays on your device
Your player profile โ a 3-letter tag, level/XP, win-loss record, and arcade stats โ is saved only in your browser's localStorage on the device you play on. We never receive it, and clearing your browser data erases it. The 3-letter tag is your choice and is not tied to your identity.
What is sent when you play online
Online and quick-match games connect the two players directly using WebRTC (peer-to-peer). During matchmaking and play, the only data exchanged is what's needed to run the match: your chosen 3-letter tag, level, skill rating (Elo), team picks, and per-frame controller inputs. Connection setup is brokered by the third-party PeerJS public signaling service and relayed when necessary by public STUN/TURN servers. We do not log or retain this traffic.
Leaderboard
If you post a score to the global leaderboard, we store only your 3-letter tag, level, rating, and win-loss totals, plus an anonymous per-browser identifier so one player holds one row. There is no name, email, IP address, or location attached. Leaderboard entries automatically expire after 30 days.
Children
TWIG WARS is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information, the game complies with children's privacy rules (COPPA/GDPR-K) by design.
Cookies & analytics
We use no cookies, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking pixels.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated date above will change with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
